Sponsor an Olive Tree at Villa Fiorina

In the Sicilian countryside, 71 mature olive trees grow at Villa Fiorina, our home in Sicily and the heart of The Grove.

For the first time, we are opening a small portion of the grove to just 25 Founding Sponsors.

Your annual sponsorship helps support the care of the grove, including irrigation, seasonal maintenance, and the work that goes into bringing our olives to harvest.

Your Tree at Harvest

In early November, when the trees at Villa Fiorina are heavy with olives, each Founding Sponsor's individual tree will be photographed in the grove.

Your personalized digital certificate and portrait of your actual tree will be delivered before Christmas each year you are a sponsor.

Giving a Sponsorship

A Villa Fiorina olive tree may also be sponsored as a gift. Your recipient's name can appear on the certificate, creating a Christmas gift connected to a real olive tree growing in Sicily.

From Our Grove

Following the harvest, each sponsor will receive one complimentary 500 mL bottle of extra-virgin olive oil produced from olives harvested from the Villa Fiorina grove.

Our olives will first be harvested and cold-pressed in Sicily, then bottled and prepared for shipment to the United States in accordance with applicable U.S. food import requirements.

Because this process takes time, your complimentary bottle will arrive separately from your digital certificate and tree portrait. The oil will be shipped only after it has been cold-pressed, bottled, and the necessary requirements for lawful importation into the United States have been completed.

We will keep our Founding Sponsors updated throughout the journey — from harvest and pressing in Sicily through bottling and the oil's eventual arrival in the United States.

The olives at Villa Fiorina are harvested and pressed together. Your bottle comes from the harvest of the grove in which your sponsored tree grows; it is not produced exclusively from the olives of an individual tree.

These first sponsors will always be part of the story of the year we first opened the olive grove at Villa Fiorina to the Olive & Cord community.

A Note About the Harvest

Olive growing follows the rhythms of nature, and every harvest is different. Weather, growing conditions, and yields vary from year to year.

Sponsorship supports the annual stewardship of an individual tree and does not convey ownership of the tree, land, olives, or a guaranteed quantity of fruit from an individual tree.
